A brief history of New Hope Memorial Gardens….
In 2004, New Hope Funeral Home purchased more acreage adjacent to Long Creek Cemetery, which had its first recorded burial in 1855 and was certified from the Texas Historical Commission as a Historic Texas Cemetery. With this land acquisition, New Hope Funeral Home opened and dedicated New Hope Cemetery, also doing business as New Hope Memorial Gardens. Since 2004, New Hope offers complete funeral and memorial services, cremations, pre-arranged services as well as offering a Cemetery for both traditional burials, cremation burials and multiple cremation memorialization options.
