Rosa Barrera

Rosa G. Barrera was born in Raymondville, Tx on September 6, 1953 to Guadalupe Garcia and Dominga Sandoval.  Rosa gained her wings peacefully on January 11, 2023.

Rosa married the love of her life Rodolfo J. Barrera on February 21, 1972, in Lamesa, Tx.

Rosa loved being a grandmother and spent much of her time with her grandchildren watching them play sports.  She liked to garden and had a green thumb like no other. She loved collecting and hanging pictures of her kids and grandkids.  She was the best mom and caretaker of her family.

She is preceded in death by her son, Rudy Barrera Jr., parents, Guadalupe Garcia y Dominga Sandoval and brother, Danny Garcia.

Rosa is survived by her spouse, Rodolfo Barrera; children, Becky Encina (Mike) of Sunnyvale, Tx, Joe Barrera (Lauren) of Forney, Tx; grandchildren, Jacob Caramela, Jason Barrera, Abigail Encinia, Brentley Barrera, Brailey Barrera, Sophia Encinia, Justin Barrera; great grandchildren, Presleigh and Parker Caramela; sister, Maggie Isaacson, Beatrice Lewis, Josie White and brother, Guadalupe Garcia Jr.
