Patricia Ann Burnett Robertson
1937 - 2023
Patricia Ann Robertson was born July 11, 1937 in Dallas, Texas, the first born of three children; Vinson (Bud) and Geraldine (JD). At 85 years young, Pat went home to be with her Lord and Savior on April 24, 2023.
Patricia met David at Childress Drive-In (local restaurant for burgers) in January 1956 and married in September later that year at Home Gardens Baptist Church. Together they raised two daughters, Cheryl and Cathy in Dallas.
Lifelong Cowboys fan Patricia later adopted the Rangers when they came to Dallas in '72. She was the #1 Nanny at all of her grand and great-grandkids' events. Nanny, self-described cut throat card player, taught all of her grandkids the fun of hearts, chickenfoot, scrabble and more. She was a regular for many years at game night at Landmark Family Fellowship where she was a member for over 20 years.
Pat retired from Sears after over 30 years of service.
Patricia loved her family unconditionally - a caring daughter, sister, wife, mother and Nanny. Not a supporter of tough love, she believed in absolute love. Her solution to everything was to love fiercely.
She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Patricia was preceded in death by her loving husband of 61 years, David Robertson, her parents, Lottie Mae Burnett and Delbert Burnett, and her siblings, Bud and JD.
