Olin Eugene Oliver was born in Dallas, TX on October 21, 1962 to Dorothy “Dodo” Loraine Seutter and Ernest “Pee Wee” Laverne Oliver. He grew up the second oldest of four boys beside brothers Kellis, Norman, and Louis. His parents, life-long musicians, enlisted the talents of Olin to play in their family band called The Vibratones. These humble beginnings were the start of a life-long love affair with music that led him on many adventures and eventually to the love of his life, Debbie Oliver.
In their 42 year marriage, he and Debbie took countless trips to the beach and went on unforgettable cruises with friends and family, and made memories that will be cherished into eternity. They are childhood sweethearts and soul-mates. A love story for the books. One that is still not finished.
Olie passed away on February 28, 2022, leaving his legacy and memories behind to be cherished by his wife, Debbie; daughters, Mindy and Heather; Sons in-Law, Brice and Kyle; grandchildren, Scarlett, Sawyer, Willow, and Reno; brothers, Kellis, Norman, Louis, and Bunky; sisters-in-law Jeanette, Davonda, and Stephanie; sisters-in-law, Kathy and Lisa; brother-in-law, Junior; Uncles Gus and Billy; and countless other family members and friends. He was met in heaven by his parents; father-in-law Nestor Gamez and mother-in-law Valrie; and his dear friend Wayne Cox.
The absence of Olie’s presence leaves a void on this earth, but his gifts in heaven are surely making a joyful noise.
