Amelie Belle Hernandez

December 6, 2010 — May 2, 2022

Amelie Hernandez, 11, passed away on May 2, 2022, in Forney, TX.

Amelie was born on December 6, 2010 in Dallas, TX to Logan Neil and Linda Maribel Delgado. She was a 5th grade student at Hollis T. Dietz Elementary School in Heartland, TX.

Amelie was born premature at 31 weeks and was a fighter from the start. Through all the medical struggles and medical dependencies, she always stayed positive. She was our little warrior.

Amelie was such a beautiful, smart, amazing, funny and unique little girl. She radiated love and her heart was so pure. She loved everything and everyone and saw all the beauty in the world. Her smile lit up the room. She made so many positive connections and created so many memories with so many people in her short life.

More than anything, Amelie loved her family and all her pets in Dallas and Killeen. She was such a beautiful soul, an angel without wings on this earth and an angel in our hearts.

Amelie is survived by her mother, Linda Delgado, her older brother, Sebastian Hernandez, her grandparents, Jose Delgado, Delmi Delgado, Bob Hernandez, Brenda Hernandez, her uncles, Jose Delgado, Jr., Francisco Delgado, her aunts, Lauren Delgado and Alison Dingrando, and her cousins, Sophie Delgado and Ethan Delgado.

Amelie is preceded in death by her father, Logan Hernandez.
