Yolanda “Yollie” Mateo Salvador was a caring wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend. She left this world suddenly on September 7, 2021 at age 61.
She was born to Guillermo Mateo Sr. and Esterlina Viernes on February 26, 1960 in Gappal, Cauayan City, Philippines.
Yollie is survived by her husband, Precioso; sons Archard Benedict and Zuriel Yosef; mother, Esterlina, brothers and sisters; uncles Flordelino and Genaro; ; aunt Maria Dolores and many cousin, nieces, and nephews; mother-In-law Elena; brother-In-laws Emmanuel and Warlito and sister-In law Preseli, Nenita, and Nida.
She attended high school at OLPI in Cauayan City, Philippines. She continues her education at CEU graduating in 1984 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology.
She moved to the United States in 1985 to San Francisco, California. She worked as an Administrator at Morning Star Residential Care Home. She moved to Mesquite, Texas in 1999. She started working at Baylor University Medical Center from 2000 to present. She also worked at the Medical Center in Mesquite from 2002 to 2004.
Her vibrant personality was contagious to everyone she met. Her cheerful attitude, bright smile, and infectious laugh will surely be missed by everyone she loves.
I will miss my loving, beautiful wife, my partner, and best friend. My sons will miss “mama bear” mommy who is always looking after them making sure everything their needs are provided for, making sure they do what is is right.
