Wilma Jean (Hensley) Lair was born on November 22, 1935 and passed November 24, 2017. Wilma is preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Donald LeRoy Lair; parents: Acie Clarence Hensley, Ruth Annie (Clouse) Hensley; brothers, Willis Hensley, Leonard Hensley, Donald Hensley, Charles Hensley, Fred Hensley; sisters: Veldenia (Hensley) Faucett, and Lois (Hensley) Doke. Wilma is survived by her children: Vickie Jean (Lair) and Husband Archie Capps, Debra Ann (Lair) and husband Alan Jackson, Pamela Sue (Lair) and husband David Toler, James LeRoy Lair and wife Lisa Niedermeier; grandchildren: Kimberly (Brown) and husband Gabriel Gamez, Angela (Brown) and husband Ruben Trevino, Amber (Capps) and husband John Moore, Aaron Capps and wife Ashley (Maddox), Jennifer (Harrison) and husband Chad Bates, Ashlyn (Capps) and husband Jose Serrato Jr., Brittany (Lair) and husband Richard Laurence, Joshua Lair, Corey Toler, Kelli Toler; great-grandchildren: Manuel Rios, Courtney Hagins, Jordan Rios, Kristopher Hagins, Madison Moore, Mason Moore, Cody Hagins, Abriana Gamez, Gabriel Gamez, Parker Mesker, Preston Mesker, Myrsadies Moore, Cade Bates, Ora Lee Laurence, Jose Serrato, Maddocks Capps, Roger Laurence, Archer Serrato; great-great grandchildren: Karina Ivy Rios, Elizabeth Dawn Garza, brothers: Jerry Hensley, Larry Hensley and sister, Bessie Miller. Wilma retired from Montgomery Ward after 20 years of service as a Sales Clerk. She and her husband were members of the American Legion Post 504 for many years. She will always be remembered as a good Christian woman and a feisty redhead with a sarcastic sense of humor who was always singing, especially when working around the house.Wilma loved to take road trips and travel, she loved to dance and even belonged to a square dance group in her younger years, but above all she loved her family and will always be missed by the legacy she leaves behind.
