William "Trey" Scroggins III

William "Trey" Oliver Scroggins III was born October 18, 1955 in San Angelo, Texas to William Oliver Scroggins Jr and Alberta Louise Scroggins. He passed away on December 18, 2023 in Forney, Texas.

He was proceeded in death by his father, William Oliver Scroggins Jr and his mother, Alberta Louise Scroggins as well as his sister-in-law, Rhonda Scroggins, and brother-in-law, Jim Seaton. Trey is survived by his wife, Mistie Scroggins; children William O IV and Deann Scroggins of Forney, Tx; Kristen and Stanton Reaves of Gladewater, Tx; Shey Scroggins and Aidan Edison of Rowlett, Tx. Grandchildren, William Oliver Scroggins V, Chase Scroggins, Laney Reaves and Daxton Reaves. Sister, Karen and husband Steve LaCroix of Tyler, Texas, brother David Scroggins of Flint, Texas and sister, Nancy Seaton of Tyler, Texas and other family and friends

Trey loved his family, kids, grandkids and his dachshunds. He enjoyed playing sports, but especially loved playing golf. He liked going two-stepping, watching his grandkids play sports and cutting up with family and friends. He faced every challenge in life with strength and courage. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

We love you so much. You are now at peace, but you will live on forever in our hearts.
