It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of William Mark Carter, of Mesquite, Texas. He was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, who left us on April 22, 2025, at the age of 65. Born on May 15, 1959, in Dallas, Texas.
William was the proud owner of MCS Mechanical for an impressive 38 years. His skill as a plumber was only rivaled by his love for fishing and hunting, activities that brought him joy and peace in nature. He was married to his high school sweetheart, Kim Carter, for an incredible 47½ years, building a life together filled with love and laughter.
William is survived by his wife, Kim; three children, Bob Carter, Charlie Carter and David (Kristy) Carter, who carry on his legacy of hard work and dedication. His grandchildren - Madison Carter, Meaghan Carter, Emily Garza, Loganne Barton, Brady Barton, Zayne Carter-Barton, Carly Carter, and Knox Carter - were a joy in his life, and he cherished every moment spent with them. Siblings: Steve Carter (Carlene), Cathy Harris and Cindy Carter. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and countless friends who will miss him dearly.
A graveside service to honor William's life will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, May 3 at Long Creek Cemetery in Sunnyvale, Tx. where family and friends will gather to share memories.
William's journey has taken him from us, but his spirit and the memories we hold close will forever remain. He will be remembered for his kindness, humor, and unwavering love for his family.
William was preceded in death by his parents; Woodrow Carter Jr. and Billie Harlow Carter.
