William Donald Lawrence

Don (Donnie) Lawrence aka Papa was born on April 13, 1949 and passed away on December 9, 2018. Don is preceded in death by his father, Fred Lawrence; mother, Helen Lawrence; brothers: Tracy Hyre and Steve Lawrence; father-in-law, Pop Cole and mother-in-law, Nanny Cole. Don is survived by his wife of 48 years, Sue Lawrence; children: Christy Noblett (Kelly), Rick Lawrence ( Erin), Laci Robertson (Alan); grandchildren: Nathan (Big Nate), Lauren (Nuthead); brothers: Paul Lawrence, Tommy Lawrence; and numerous family, friends, nieces and nephews. Don loved cooking ribs and pulled pork on the grill but was most known for his award winning chili recipe.He loved music and could even play the guitar, banjo and mandolin. Don loved fishing camping gardening and going to casinos. He will be dearly missed by all who had an opportunity to know him.
