William U. (Bill) Artesi

ARTESI, William U. (Bill) was born November 21, 1933 in Gallup, NM. He went to be with his Lord March 6, 2009 after a long illness. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Grace Artesi; brother, Joseph John Artesi of CA; daughters, Karen Shea & husband, Tim; Lauren Bunch & husband, Gary; sons, Gregory Artesi & wife, Sherry, William B. Artesi & wife, Olevia; grandchildren, Richard Shea, Ryan Shea, Matthew Shea, Kyle Bunch & wife, Pam, Carl Bunch, Alicia Bunch, Chad Artesi & wife, Nilsa , Nathaniel Artesi & wife, Danielle, Carly Artesi, Blake Artesi and Jacob Artesi; great grandchildren, Colton and Caitlyn Shea, Kaleb Bunch, Brayden Artesi, Hailey Artesi. Bill served in the United States Navy during the Korean War, graduated from Business College in Stockton California, relocated to Texas. He went to work for the Dallas County Sheriff Department and retired in 1999 as a deputy sheriff. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and very active in his catholic faith through the years. Funeral mass will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, March 10, 2009 at the St. Michaels Catholic Church, 950 Trails Parkway, Garland, TX. 75043. Family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday evening from 6:00PM " 8:00PM with Rosary at 7:30 PM.
