William Walter Anderson, Jr. was born on October 6, 1958 in Dallas, Texas to Mary Ann & William Anderson. William was a construction contractor in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area for more than 30 years. He left this world and entered the kingdom of Heaven on November 4th, 2017. William is preceded in death by grandmother LoRae Newkirk; grandfather Jim Tuttle; and nephew Brian J. Moore. He is survived by his parents Mary Ann Carlile & Walter Anderson; wife of 14 years Tonia Anderson; daughters Jennifer Anderson & family; Valerie Williams & family; and Alexis Anderson; step children Blake Rushing & family and Lauren Rushing & family; brother Jimmie Anderson & wife Connie; and sister Carolyn Anderson. He also leaves behind nieces Amber Cortez & family; Stephanie DeRoy & family; Misty Ihle & family; Amy Burkes & family; and Ashlie Anderson & family as well as a wealth of cousins, grandchildren and friends. William was an incredibly strong, supportive and compassionate man. He was a wonderful caregiver throughout his life, raising many children which he always considered his own. He had a playful spirit and was usually the biggest 'kid' of the bunch. He had a generous heart and always gave of himself unselfishly to all those around him. William could brighten even the darkest room with his sparkling blue eyes, warm smile and infectious laugh. He had a passion for playing golf and spent as much of his free time as possible on a golf course. He had a gift for storytelling and making those around him laugh and smile. His loving personality had a way of making others feel safe and at home and he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He fought courageously and faithfully through his many challenges in life offering hope and inspiration to all who he encountered. All who knew and loved him will miss him more than words could ever express, but are comforted by the knowledge that he now resides in Heaven with the Lord. William has been reunited with and stands beside his loved ones in Heaven and will be there to greet us when our Heavenly Father calls us home.
