Wayne Miller

Wayne Miller, born May 15, 1959, passed away on August 13, 2012. Wayne was born and raised in Forney, TX. He had a successful career in Iron Working until he suffered a devastating injury. He moved away from Iron Working but continued a successful career in construction. He was a devoted son, brother, uncle, and father to his children. Recently in life, he spent the majority of his time supporting and caring for his mother in her time of illness and need. He loved his children and his family with every breath he took and beat of his heart. Lately, he also enjoyed growing fruit and vegetables in his garden and garage sale hunts with his sister Linda. Recently, his health prevented him from enjoying the sports he loved so much, hunting and fishing, so he transferred that energy into his love for the Rangers and the Longhorns. Wayne is survived by his parents: mother, Mildred Louise Gowin and husband, Willie Gowin; daughter, Whitney Layne Miller; sisters, Linda Jeane Miller, Novis Lee Miller, Lou Edith Miller; brothers, Dewey Clayton Miller, David Michael Miller, James Howard Miller, Arthur William Miller; as well as many other cousins, nieces, nephew Wayne was preceded in death by his son: Ryan Wayne Miller; brothers, Mickey Glenn Miller and Ricky Glenn Miller; father, E.C. Miller Services for Wayne will be Friday, August 17, 2012 - 2:00PM at First Baptist Church in Forney, 1003 College St (FM 741) Forney, TX 75126.
