Wayne Edward Lee

Born to the parentage of the late Melvin Lee and Ella Wells in Terrell, Texas on December 19, 1958. He attended and graduated from Terrell High School in 1978. He also attended Prairie View A&M University. He attended Union Valley Baptist Church where he accepted Christ at an early age. Wayne coached Terrell Youth Football League where he had a very strong passion for children and the community for over 25 years. He retired from the Terrell State Hospital. He also worked for the City of Terrell and worked for Terrell Independent School District. He united with the First Assembly of God Church where he faithfully served. He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers, and three sisters. He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Cindy Lee of eleven years; his children, Wayne Lee Jr. (LaCyndra), Cody Akins, Matasha Lee, Ashley Akins, Tavares Lee, and Felicia Akins; his grandchildren, Sean Lee, Wayne Lee III, Amelia Tave, Isaiah Lee, TaMarion Lee, Celeste Rondan, Isabella Garcia; six brothers, David Wells Sr. (Gloria) of Terrell, Roger Wilson of Denton, TX, Melvin Wilson of Oceanside, CA, Tommy Wilson of Terrell, Donnell Lee (Shanell) of Terrell, James Lee Sr. (Coreatha) of Terrell; five sisters, Doris Jackson, Eltha Bean, Lessie Nickerson, Joyce Mimes (Bennie), Dionne Dean, all of Terrell; and a host of other family members.
