Warren Lee Litzman

May 10, 1929 — December 12, 2019

Warren Lee Litzman, 90, of Dallas, Texas, born-again son of God, loving husband, father, grandfather, minister of the Gospel of Grace in Christ Jesus went to his Father’s house December 12, 2019. Born May 10, 1929, to Mack and Leona Litzman of Waco, Texas, Warren was witty and light-hearted, self-effacing, with a deep, quiet wisdom, and a lover of the Dallas Cowboys’ ‘Dream Team’, ice cream, and oatmeal-raisin cookies. A supportive father who exemplified fully trusting in God, tenacious problem-solving, and perseverance in pursuing dreams. His grandkids remember him as a quiet, witty man who loved God greatly and was passionate about God’s grace. Warren lived with a singular focus of the Christ-life message, teaching with an authentic Texan drawl and a profound simplicity, determined to proclaim grace by Christ’s life “until the whole world knows.” He, with his wife Robbie, unrelentingly served an international audience more than 70 years by founding Grace Fellowship International, dba Christ-life Fellowship, traveling to Africa, Australia, India, Asia, the Philippines, and throughout North America preaching and home-church planting. A notable author, he published 50 years of Life in the Son magazine and authored more than 30 Christian books. He is preceded in death by his parents, Mack and Lenora Litzman; his half-brother, Bino, three sisters, Ruth, Juanita, and Carmel; and his son, Randall McTaggart. He is survived by his wife, Roberta Litzman; sons Terry (Anita) Litzman and Rodney (Lisa) McTaggart, and daughter Teresa (Tim) Ferraro; and grandkids Chase (Julie) McTaggart, Nick (Kelsey) McTaggart, Anna, Anthony, Amelia, and Aidan Ferraro; as well as two beautiful great-grandchildren. Friends and family are invited to pay their respects Tuesday, December 17 at New Hope Funeral Home, 500 E. Hwy. 80, Sunnyvale, TX 75182. Viewing is 12:00pm, with funeral service at 2:00, followed by graveside service. After years of teaching “the Mystery” of “Christ in you, the hope of glory” (Col. 1:27), Warren finally gets to break free of earthly bonds, meet Jesus in glory, and have deep discussions with Apostle Paul. “I see Jesus in You.”
