Walter Rex Wilkes

Walter Rex Wilkes of Mesquite, was born October 7, 1947 and went home to be with his Lord on May 11, 2006. He is survived by his wife Karen; daughters, Misti Johnson, Melissa Mitchell and her husband William; Son, Tim Wilkes and his wife Tammy; grandchildren, Rachel, Kristi, Katie, Katherine, Taylor, Amanda, Nickolas, Sabrina,and Matthew; great grandson, Joshua.Also survived by his mother, Frances Wilkes; brother, David Wilkes and wife Debbie; sisters, Gail Sugar and husband Al; Anna Burrell and husband Matthew and numerous neices and nephews. Services will be at the Grand View Baptist Church in Mesquite on Saturday, May 13, 2006 at 1:00 PM and the family will receive friends on Friday evening, May 12, 2006 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
