He is survived by wife of 44 years, Emily West; brother, Billy West and wife Laurel of Fate, Texas; sisters, Elizabeth Stevenson and husband Roger of Grand Prairie, and Dallis Piccard and husband Eddie of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Also survived by 7 nephews, 8 nieces, 9 great nephews, 9 great nieces, 4 great great nephews and 5 great greatnieces.
