C. Wade Fairless Born in Sayre, Oklahoma to Joe and Estelle Fairless on October 6, 1929.He passed away on July 14, 2014 surrounded by his family.He was the oldest of four children, his brothers Bill and Jack preceded him in death. Wade is survived by his loving wife Tommie, a marriage of 67 years; children Lon and his wife Judy, Brenda and her husband Kent, Mitchel and his wife Jill; Grandchildren Leslie Hatcher and husband Michael, Dr. Justin Fairless and wife Kyndal;Great Grandchildren Jackson and Erikson Hatcher andLola and Griffin Wade Fairless; sister Jeurida Villasana and husband Rudy, Sister-in-law Nelma Epley and numerous nieces and nephews and many friends. Wade was an adventuresome man, accomplishing things from getting his pilot license at 15 to driving a logging truck.He worked with his father in the Fairless Plumbing Company and retired from the City of Dallas 27 years in the General Services Department.Wade was a Man’s Man who could take care of everything.His skills ran from building family houses, to repairing cars to just about anything and everything.And most of all, he was devoted to his family and was always there for them, no matter what. Wade loved the outdoors and remained active all his life enjoying, skiing, golfing, fishing, traveling all over the world and exploring the country in his RV with Tommie. Wade was a strong man, yet kind and gentle to all. He will be greatly missed by many, many people.
