Viola V. Rodela

Viola V. Rodela, 79, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving children at her home of 52 years on September 22, 2022.  She was born to Joaquin and Carolina Villarreal, Sr. on July 7, 1943, in Corpus Christi, Texas.  She retired from Fritz Industries after 35 years of service.

She is preceded in death by her parents Joaquin and Carolina Villarreal, Sr., sister Gloria Pena, brother Joaquin Villarreal, Jr., niece and nephew Monica and Michael Villarreal.

Viola is survived by Sandra Plunk, Debra Andaverde (Victor), Johnny Rodela III (Catherine), Denise Smith (Luis), 8 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and sisters Olga Perez, Emilie Brooks, and Linda Saenz.

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Viola will be held on Friday, September 30, 2022, at 2:00 p.m., at New Hope Funeral Home, Sunnyvale, Texas.
