Vida Louise Webb

WEBB, Vida Louisewas born July 28, 1926 in Wilson, Oklahoma to Vida Etta Hickman Weaver and Daniel Weaver. She died May 7, 2011 in Dallas, Texas. She graduated from Putnam City High School in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Prior to marriage she was a dental assistant in Oklahoma City. In 1953 she married Kenneth Hayden Webb and moved to Dallas. He, and her sister Ann Herring precede her in death. Her daughters Karen Webb of Forney, Texas and Kim Webb Horton and husband Tony Horton of Dallas and her grandchildren Mary Grace Horton and Mercy Horton of Dallas, survive her. Vida loved people, books, entertaining, politics and a good joke. She also loved cats, antiques, gardening, dancing and music. She had numerous gifts but the greatest was a big heart. All who knew her will miss her. Vida was a lifelong member of Midway Hills Christian Church, Dallas where a memorial service will be held Wednesday, May 11 at 2:00. A reception immediately following the service will be held at Lakewood Country Club.
