Vickie Dianne Rice

RICE, Vickie Dianne of Mesquite, born June 28, 1960, passed away February 7, 2009. Born in Liberal, Kansas and graduated from R. L. Turner in Carrollton, TX. She attended 2 years at North Texas, Denton, TX. Vickie married Jim Dean Rice on March 10, 1984. She sang in choir, loved music, loved cooking, baking anything sweet, good at all crafts, loved shoes and her children. We loved her dearly and will remember her with a smile. Preceded in death by grandparents, Henry & Opal Ogletree. Survived by husband of 25 years, Jim Rice; son, Trevor James Rice; daughter, Devon Victoria Rice; mother, Pauline Ogletree Hawkins; father, Jerry Hawkins; brothers, Gary Wayne Hawkins & Tim Dale Hawkins and many friends. Service will be 2:00PM Saturday February 14, 2009 at Berean Baptist Church, 302 N. Town East Blvd, Sunnyvale, TX. 75182. Family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening from 6:00PM " 8:00PM.
