Vera Nell Corder

Vera Nell (Eves) Corder, 88, passed away on January 23, 2019. She was born on November 21, 1930 to William Robert and Finnie Mae (Pruitt) Eves in Ennis, Texas. She married James Corder in January of 1948. Vera was a beloved wife and mother of five children. She was active in her church, teaching Sunday School and a part of the choir for many years. She was an avid reader, loved cooking, gardening and bird watching. She had a servant’s heart and was a strong, faithful Proverbs 31 woman for all who knew her. She was married for almost 68 years. Vera and James made their home in Combine, Texas for over 56 years and she had many loving friends and family. She loved her 5 children, 6 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren and gave to everyone selflessly. Preceding her in death are her husband, James Corder, her parents Robert and Finnie Eves, sisters: Margie Vance, Lois Struck, Doris Aaron and brothers: Bobby Eves and James Eves. Those left to cherish her memory are her sister Geneva (Teensey) Trammell, children Robert Lee Corder and wife, Mary, Janice Pipkin, Sam Corder, Clay Corder and Rachel Stock; grandchildren: Eric Loveless Jr., Karen Diane Albarez, Jeffrey Corder, Ricky Coder, Nicole Brewer, and Heather Stock; Great grandchildren: Brittany, Tabitha, Amanda, Tyler, Christopher, Liam, Nico, Emma and Alayna; Great Great Grandchildren: Skyler, Adeline and Aiden.
