Velma Charlene Dupree

Velma Charlene Dupree wasborn September 12, 1934 in Sulphur Bluff, Texas to Charlie and Elsie Hays, passed away on April 23, 2009. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Elsie Hays; nephew, Olen Jay Nail. Survived by her husband of 18 years, Bill Dupree. She was the mother of Linda Story and husband Dale of Merit, Texas andCharlie Brown and wife Joy of Farmersville, Texas. She was also themother to Nathern Bennett of Huachuca, Arizona, Deborah Adams and husband Paul of Joshua, Texas, and Marty Vincent of Mesquite, Texas. Also survived by grandchildren, David, Daniel, Arliena, Craig, Richard, Jeremiah, Rose, Timothy, Bethany, Charli, Robert, Andy, Matt, Rick, Brad,and Dustin and also 22 great grandchildren. Survived by her sister, Glenda Ann and husband Terry and one niece, Jennifer Bailey and husband Bill. She was also survived by her beloved dog Peaches. Survices will be Monday, April 27, 2009, at 10:00 AM at New Hope Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday afternoon from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Interment will be at Laurel Oaks Memorial Park immediately following the service.
