Varughese Mathew Kozhimala (Joykutty) November 8, 1954 - January 15, 2017 Varughese Mathew Kozhimala, also known as “Joykutty,” has gone to be with our Heavenly Father. He was born to K.M. Mathew and Aleyamma Mathew into the Kozhimala family of Kidangannoor, Kerala. He was the middle son in the family of three children (two boys, one girl). He worked as a supervisor for Geeta Flour Mills in Thiruvilla, India before migrating to the U.S.A in 1993. He has worked for Professional Optical Supply, Dallas Morning News and was currently working as an employee of Garland Independent School District. He is survived by Susamma, his wife of 35 years, his daughter Asha, son Anish, son-in-law Joby, and granddaughter Jiya. His brother and sister are: Annamma David (India), Elder Sister Late Cherian Mathew (India), Younger Brother We miss our husband, father, and grandfather very much. He has been a loyal member of our family whom he cherished so much. He was a loving person who had a good heart and would do anything for anyone. He was a dedicated Christian man who loved and lived for God. He attended St. Paul’s Mar Thoma Church of Mesquite, Texas.Pappa has been the rock of our family and it has been our privilege to know and love him. Although the pain of losing him will never end, we rejoice in the fact that he has gone home to be with his Heavenly Father. We rest assured knowing that we will one day be united with him in Heaven.
