Tula Caras Acree

Fatula Caras Acree, 69, of Sunnyvale, died Monday, April 28, 2014, at her place of residence. Tula was born on July 5th, 1944, in Gainesville, TX, to Costas Caras and Nellie Slack. She was married to Herbert Acree on March 27, 1964, at Presbyterian Church in Gainesville. She was a devoted member of Eastridge Park Christian Church. Tula was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, friend, and homemaker. She will be greatly missed by all whose lives she has touched. She is survived by her husband, Herbert Acree, of Sunnyvale; son, Bryan Acree and his wife Brettney of Lake Dallas; grandchildren, Brylee & Beau; brother, Demetrius Caras and his wife Hazel; numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by parents Costas Caras and Nellie Slack; brothers, Constantinos Caras and Alexander Caras; and sister, Argroula Caras Gustafson. A visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Friday, May 2nd, 2014, at New Hope funeral home. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, May 3, 2014, at New Hope.
