Treva Lynn Owen Treva Lynn Owen was a beloved mother, grandmother, wife, sister, aunt, niece, cousin, and most of all a friend. Our beloved Treva was born to Floyd and Viola Sterling on September 24, 1959 in Dallas, TX.She married her high school sweet heart, Donny McGuire, at the age of eighteen. This union blessed them with three beautiful children. Treva was a person with a heart of gold who loved everyone.There wasnt anything she wouldnt do for you or give to you. She was a strikingly beautiful red-headed woman who never stopped smiling. She leaves behind two loves in her life Steve Owen, and Jim McCoy. Both men were instrumental in her life and she cared for them deeply.Another love of her life was her Walgreens family.Although Treva had only worked for Walgreens a short time, her passion and love for the company resulted in many fond memories and great friendships. Treva dedicated her life to the joy of raising her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her three children, Steven Eric McGuire, Shaun David McGuire and wife Catherine, and Stephanie Rena McGuire and partner Jonathan. In addition, Treva had two step-children she loved as her own, Jim McCoy Jr. and partner Paul Cross, and Jeana Enochs and husband Ed.Trevas precious grandchildren include Tristan McGuire, Jade McGuire, Donavan McGuire, Chase McGuire, Aiden Ohm, Brittani Caviness, Jordan Enochs,Emma Enochs, and a grandchild on the way.Treva is also survived by sisters Tina Windholz and husband Hubert, Tammie Sterling and partner Craig, Kelly Connel and husband Bill, aunt, Betty Lawrence and her numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins who will forever love and cherish her memories. Treva is preceded in death by her parents, Floyd & Viola Sterling, along with her sister Teresa Sterling, and grandparents Mike McKenzie and Dora McKenzie. She has left a footprint on all of our lives and her smile and genuine happiness will always warm our hearts when we fondly remember our times with her. Try not to cry for her, as her new journey has begun and what an adventure it will be. She will surely wait at the gate for each of us to arrive, smiling and holding a big cup oftea. Family will receive friends Monday, May 3rd from 6pm-8pm at New Hope Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 4th at 10:00am at New Hope Funeral Home and burial at Restland Memorial Park, Dallas, TX..
