Travis Lavoy Williams

Travis Lavoy Williams of Terrell, born August 19, 1939 in Crandall, TX. Dad passed away peacefully at Hospice of East Texas in Tyler, TX. on March 31, 2015. Dad was a Professor at TVCC for 43 years, primarily at the Palestine Campus where he did what he loved the most and at times inspired others to greatness. “Professor T”will be remembered as a great educator, loving father and friend. He is preceded in death by his wife of 37 years, Susie Williams, parents, Melvin & Ethel Williams, brother, Kenneth and sister, LanaBeth. Remembering him are daughters, Leslie Reeves & husband, Mark, Kimberly Perkins & husband, Timothy, Tiffany Williams;sister, Barbara Vick and 6 grandchildren. Service will be 1:00PM Saturday April 4, 2015 at New Hope Funeral Home, 500 E. Hwy. 80, Sunnyvale, TX. 75182. Family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening from 5:00PM – 7:00PM. Interment will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Seagoville, TX.
