Pat began life as Tommie Patricia Johnson.She was born to Thomas Jefferson Johnson and Maggie Mae Harrington Johnson.Not liking Tommie as her first name she would be known to all as Patricia or Pat as most called her.Patricia was raised in Refugio Texas and this is where she met her husband Henry.Patricia and Henry moved to Mesquite in 1967.She worked as a proof operator at First Nation Bank of Mesquite and then First State Bank of Mesquite where she retired around 1982.She was a talented artist and a lover of all animals.If you knew her you knew she was kind hearted and would do anything for or give anything to anyone who needed help.In 1982 her name changed once again to Nanny Pat after the birth of her first grandchild.She lost her husband, Henry Wayne Goforth, in March of 2006.They were married for 56 years.She leaves behind her daughter, Ginger Rohde and husband Derek, her son Gary Goforth and wife Susan as well as her grandchildren, Christopher Rohde and wife Heather, Brandon Rohde, Adam Rohde, Adriene Goforth and Jesse Goforth.She also leaves behind her great grandchildren Gavin Rohde and Abigail Rohde. “All that I am, or hope to be, I owe to my angel mother”.
