REINWALD, Thomas Edward of Mesquite, born November 28, 1946, passed away September 4, 2003. Preceded in death by mother, Inez Reinwald; father, Emil Reinwald. Survived by brother, Richard and wife Pam Saldeen, brother, Harry and wife Mary Lou Reinwald, step-mother, Gertrude Reinwald, nephew Richard Adam and niece, Lisa Kay Saldeen. A Memorial Service will be held at the New Hope Funeral Home Chapel, 1 pm, Sunday, September 7, 2003 with Pastor Terry Blankenship officiating. Tom was born in Ayer, Massachusetts on the 28thday of November, 1946.He had an older brother, Richard, and was later to have a younger brother, Harry.After WW II ended, the family moved to Dallas, Texas where his mother had lived previously. After Graduation from Woodrow Wilson high school in 1964, He served in the army for 8 years & attained the rank of sergeant.He worked at various printing companies for several years, specializing in bookbinding.In 1979, Tom & his brother, Richard,started Their own business, Folding Center, Inc., & later changed the name to Superior Bindery,Inc. The business did well, & included such customers as Texas Instruments, Frito Lay, American Heart Association, J.C Penney, & Williamson Printing, to name a few. After Tom suffered a stroke in 1994, the hectic pace of the bookbinding business became a burden for him, so a year later, Tom & Richard sold the business & Tom became semi-retired.However,Tomwanted to continue working, but was physically unable to stand for long periods, so he went to work for Yellow Cab where he worked for the remainder of his life.Tom?sgreatest qualities were his wonderful sense of humor,& his unwavering honesty.He was admired & loved by many people, but most especially his family.He will be greatly missed here on earth, but will surely have a very special place reserved for him in heaven.
