Nadine loved many things?..cooking, sewing, collecting family personal items, reading cookbooks, antiquing, garage-sales, resale shops, flea markets and visiting relatives. She loved to travel, delighted in visiting relatives and talked most about the trip to Alaska that she, Hayden and Dale had taken. Family history was another interest of hers. She collected several genealogy books, and loved to peruse the pages, adding entries as her family grew. Nadine was a charitable person, having a number of charities that she supported regularly.Though she was by no means wealthy, she always gave what she could to Diabetes, Cancer, Lung and Alzheimer's Associations. She was generous to a fault and one of the most loyal people you'd ever meet. She always loved the under-dog, and always had a little money to give. Nadine was a thrifty person, and a skilled seamstress. When her daughter was a child, Nadine made all of Carole's clothes. When her son, Dale, was a very young child, she mademany of his clothes as well. She would scour fabric counters, looking for fabrics on sale.Upon finding a good buy, she would take it home to save for a later date. Her unfilled dream was to write her own cook book. Nadine made a profession of faith, and was baptized at the age of 11 or 12, as a member of the Baptist Church.
