Thelma Donaldson

Thelma Donaldson 3/5/1922 - 3/11/2019 Thelma was a mother, grandmother, GiGi (great grandmother) and friend, she was very independent and strong willed.She reached her 97th birthday and remained strong until the end. She loved to go to the dances at the Senior Center.Thelma enjoyed the movies, going out to eat and especially enjoyed taking the grandkids for ice cream at DQ. Loving dancing and her (great) grandkids, she learned Mickey Mouses’ “Hot Dog Dance” with her oldest great grandson “the little boy”, Alejandro.Her two youngest great grandson’s Dominic and Rogelio would bring a smile to her face, she enjoyed crawling and playing around with them. She brought joy and will be deeply missed. She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Siria Converse, brothers, and sister Donald, Clarence, Charles Converse and Alice Green, son, Wes Donaldson, grandsons, Doug Donaldson and George Allen Salazar. She is survived by her children, Sandra Salazar, and husband George, Tom Donaldson of Ohio, Les Donaldson and wife Linda of Illinois; grandchildren: Jessica, Tiffany and Stephanie, Ashley of Illinois, and Andy Donaldson of Washington State; great grandchildren: Alejandro, Rogelio and Dominic, Sophia and Olivia of Illinois.
