Thelbert Glen Springer, born June 18, 1930 in Electra, Texas to Murphy and Stella Springer, passed away on July 19, 2011. Preceded in death by father, Murphy Samuel Springer, mother, Stella Mae Springer, Wife, Bonnie Springer, andgranddaughter, Robyn Crocker Landers. Survived by daughters; Judy Crocker and husband Lynn, Debbi Musgrove and husband Mitchell Musgrove, grandchildren; Amber Crocker Watkins and husband Adam, Brandon Musgrove and wife McKenzie, Shane Musgrove and wife Jamie, great grandchildren; Caden and Chandler Watkins and and Mora Musgrove. Thelbert Glen left behind loving family and friends. He was a man of many interests. He lived on the lake and loved fishing and hunting. At a young age he learned how to play guitar and met Hank Williams, one of his favorite musicians. He was an old school carpenter and built beautiful custom homes. He was a pilot and loved flying his two small planes. Glen loved John Wayne movies and seemed to be on a mission to see them all one more time before he said his final "good-bye". He left this earth with his family by his side as he rode off into the sunset. Services will be at New Hope Funeral Home on Thursday, July 21, 2011 at 11:00 AM.
