Ted Wayne Nowell

NOWELL, Ted Wayne of Mesquite, born October 31, 1932, passed away October 3, 2007. He was a Mason, and dedicated his life to coaching baseball to young men for 48 years in the Dallas area.A loving husband, father, and grandfather.He retired from Safeway Stores after 48 years of service. Preceded in death by parents, Ted & Wilma Nowell. Survived by wife of 57 years, Kay Nowell; children, Kathy Knight & husband, Tommy; Ted Nowell, Jr. & wife, Debra, Kelliann Harris & husband, David; grandchildren, Patrick Schrum, Kacy Leis, Cody Knight, Ted Nowell, III, K. D. Harris, Beau Nowell, Kaylee Knight, Tyler Harris; great granddaughter, Kinsey Leis. Service will be 1:00PM Friday October 5, 2007 at New Hope Funeral Home. Family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday evening from 6:00PM to 8:00PM.
