About six months later she came to me and asked me out, since I guess she saw I wasn't going to try to ask her out again. The rest is history. Susan was the most wonderful wife and mother and I strived daily to be worthy of her.Susan loved her daughters in such a tender way.The way she nuzzled up to them and kissed on them like they were still little babies is very precious to me and the girls. Our hearts are overflowing with Susan's demonstrative love for her family. We cherish our wife and mother and her wisdom in providing her family with memories to now sustain us. Susan's insistence that we return to church at a time in lives when we had drifted away speaks of her true devotion and love for God.Susan loved Jesus and knew him as her savior and was very careful to make sure our girls were brought up knowing and loving Jesus. I thank you Lord for being so very blessed in knowing and loving Susan for almost twenty-five years.Susan was my friend, helpmate, wife and mother of our two wonderful little girls. Susan, with grief engulfing our mortal hearts, today our spiritual hearts lift you up and somehow we sing with joy for you and your journey as you now go and live with our heavenly Father. We stand in awe of God's mysterious and wonderful ways as we somehow comprehend God has granted us the realization that today it is our wife and mother leading our hearts in song, guiding us, loving us and watching over us.Susan, we love you.
