Steven Allen Thorne

Steven Allen Thorne was born on March 2, 1958 in San Bernardino, California to a family with 8 children. He was taken to be raised by Carl Thorne and his then wife, Joyce. Steve was raised mostly by Carl and his Uncle Bill, until Bills death and Carls marriage to Norma Thorne. Steve passed away on March 29, 2010 at home after a 10 month battle with brain cancer. He is survived by his wife, Tammy Lightfoot Thorne, his adopted mother Norma Thorne, his adopted sisters, Amy Oliver and Conita Johnson Wilson. He is also survived by his 3 nephews, Casey Tapp, Jacob Dittmar and Pierce Dittmar, who he loved as much as he could have loved his own children. He leaves a hole in many peoples lives. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, April 3rd , 11am at New Hope Funeral Home, 500 E. Hay 80, Sunnyvale, TX . Visitation will be held Saturday morning from 10am -11am at the funeral home.
