Shelley Mothersell

Shelley Joyce Mothersell, born on November 18, 1962, in Dallas, Texas, went to be with the Lord on February 3, 2025, at the age of 62. Shelley exemplified the essence of love and compassion throughout her life. She will be remembered as a loving wife, a compassionate mother, a devoted daughter, sister, and friend.

Shelley's dedication and loyalty to her loved ones were unparalleled, leaving a lasting imprint on the hearts of many. She faced numerous challenges throughout her life, but her strength and resilience shone through, often supported by her unwavering faith and the love of her family.

In her spare time, Shelley dedicated herself to caring for those she loved, finding joy in cooking and gardening. Her kind-hearted and nurturing nature brought warmth and light into the lives of her family and friends, creating countless cherished memories.

Shelley was preceded in death by her spouse, Richard Mothersell; her oldest son, William Stoker III ("Boom Boom"); her mother, Barbara Hipp; her father, Larry Spence; and her father-in-law, Frank Mothersell ("Pop").

She is survived by her sons, Michael and Fredrick; her daughter, Christy; her daughter-in-laws, LuLu and Tera Mothersell; and son-in-law, Shane Miller. Shelley is also survived by her sister, Cheryl Mothersell; brothers, Ronald and Donald Hipp; and sister, Diane Auriemme; mother-in-law, Carolyn Cannon; brothers-in-law, Danny and Franky Mothersell; sisters-in-law, Carrie Mothersell, Nicole Mothersell and Tammy Reynolds; and nephew, Joe Putnam.

Additionally, she leaves behind her beloved grandchildren: Kaleb Mothersell, Alyssa Stoker, Richard Mothersell ("Little Richard"), Zoe, Kayson, Bella, Trinity, and Lillie Mothersell, along with many other nieces and nephews who will carry forward her legacy of love and light.

Visitation will be held at New Hope Funeral Home in Sunnyvale, Texas on February 10, 2025, at 1:00 PM, followed by a memorial service starting at 2:00 PM.

Shelley Joyce Mothersell's spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
