Sharon McDaniel

Sharen McDaniel, a mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister & beloved friend, passed away at the age of 78 in her home March 18th.

She was born on August 3, 1946 in St. Louis Missouri, and later moved to Dallas as a child.

Sharen was the proud mother of five dauthers: Angela, Rhonda, Melissa, Twana & Jamie. Her family was her heart & she cherished the time spent with her 19 grandchildren and her great grandchildren who affectionately called her "Mamott."

In 1986, Sharen married Larry McDaniel, and they shared a beautiful life together until his passing in 2019.

Sharen found strength and solace in her faith; she was baptized by her son in law in 2000 at Mesquite Church of Christ. She could be found at church in the kitchen cleaning and cooking for anyone that needed assistance.

An avid fisherman she found joy in nature & loved taking care of her yard, often seen mowing her acre of land or even up on a ladder painting her house, even at her age. She had an unwavering commitment to helping others, always the first to lend a hand whether it was preparing meals or cleaning someone's home.

Sharen has never met a stranger. She would speak at great lengths to anyone & everyone.

A celebration of Mamott's life will be held in the coming days, where family and friends will gather to remember her. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to a local charity or church in her honor.

Rest in peace Mamott. Your spirit will forever remain in our hearts & live on in your children, grandchildren & great grandchildren.
