Shannon was born September 2nd 1972 and was called home to heaven on November 26th 2019. Shannon was raised by her mom but also by her loving Momo, Popo and Aunt D who she lived with in her childhood. Shannon graduated from Lakeview Centennial High School in Garland, TX, and moved back to Guymon Oklahoma to attend Oklahoma Panhandle State University, studying general education and teaching.She worked hard while in school at several jobs, including Tom Thumb, Gibsons, and Walmart.Shannon was especially close to and loved her Aunt JoAnn and Uncle J.R., who preceded her in death, and she often spoke of her years in Oklahoma as the happiest in her life.In the late 90s she returned to the Dallas area eventually working at Sprint. Shannon was a home owner by the age of 28.Shannon loved her niece and her nephews very much, and would give the world to them if she could have.Shannon was a mom to them when their own parents fell on hard times. Shannon could sing beautifully, and loved music, she especially loved country music. She loved collecting recipes,and cooking new and healthy dishes for her family. She was a full time care giver to her mom Kathy from 2013 through to the time of Shannon's home going.Her mom's health and happiness was her main goal. Shannon also deeply loved her long time friends Sara and Kevin and loved to cook for them or share a gift or a Starbucks. Shannon was truly the heart of our home.Sweet,caring, and selfless best describe her precious soul, which we know is with the Lord Jesus and His angels now.Shannon will be forever in our hearts, and missed deeply until we can be together again on that golden shore . Shannon was also preceded in death by her grandmother Elizabeth Chapman, and so many beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins . Shannon is survived by her mother Kathy Periman, sister Amy Goldsmith, her grandfather Doyle Chapman, and her grandma Joannie Varner,her niece Ashley Russell, nephews Austin Russell, Jonathan Russell, and Joshua Goldsmith. She is also survived by her aunt , and uncle, and several cousins all who love Shannon, and will miss her loving caring spirit so much. The memorial service for Shannon Bryan will be held on Saturday , December 14th, 2019 at Meadow View Church of Christ in Mesquite, TXat 1PM . Her final resting place will be at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Sunnyvale, Texas in the future.
