Serena Ella Brown

Serena Ella Brown (1949-2011) On December 19, 2011, Serena was called home by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was born March 4, 1949 in Dallas, Texas to Violet and Frank Masters. She was raised in Oak Cliff, but spent the majority of her life in Mesquite. After several years working for various banks, she began a career with Affiliated Computer Systems and retired from Electronic Data Systems. She is survived by her husband, Charlie; two sons, Mark and Michael; 4 grandchildren, Lyndsay, Mackenzie, Dylan, and Cash; and a great grandson, Dylan. A memorial service will be held, Saturday, January 21 at 1:00 pm at New Hope Funeral Home (500 East Hwy 80, Sunnyvale, TX 75182). In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be given to the American Diabetes Association or American Lung Association.
