Samuel Charles Glaze

Samuel Glaze was born on August 2, 1945 in Dallas to the late Boland Clate and Annie Esther Glaze. He passed away on July 28, 2019 in Seagoville, Texas. He graduated from Southern Assemblies of God in Waxahachie. Served four years in the Army, where he was stationed in Japan. Samuel began his working career at The City of Dallas and then went on to work at several freight lines: Roadway, ANR & Yellow as a Teamster. He retired in 2001. He loved to take road trips traveling with his friends and family in his retirement years. Sam loved movies, music, and spending time with his family. He was a simple man with a big heart. He will be dearly missed by his family. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Ilene Wheeler. He is survived by his son, Michael Glaze and Susan, daughter; Tammy Flores and Steve, grandchildren; Madison, Steven & Emerson Flores, and Camden Glaze, brother and sister-in-law; Norman and Patsy Glaze, as well as several nieces and nephews.
