Jean's faith in Jesus, her Lord and Savior, anchored her spirit and guided her through life's journey. With a passion for sewing, she crafted not only beautiful garments but also beloved memories that her family will cherish forever. A devoted administrative assistant at the Milano Hat Company, Jean brought warmth and dedication to her work, allowing her creativity to shine through in everything she did.
Remembered for her joyful spirit and unwavering love for family and faith, Jean's laughter and kindness will echo in the hearts of all who knew her. She lived her life surrounded by love, creating a legacy that will not be forgotten. A celebration of her life will take place at New Hope Funeral Home Tuesday, December 31st at 11:00 A.M. Burial will be at Laurel Oaks Memorial Park following the service at 1:00 P.M, where family and friends will gather to honor her memory and the many ways she touched their lives.
Jean was preceded in death by her parents, John and Ida Mary Ponder and siblings Billie Costlow, Marylee Johnston, Carolyn Sue Hale, William Ponder, and Patricia Ponder.
