Sam Middleton

MIDDLETON, Sam "S. P." of Dallas, born August 24, 1920, passed away April 29, 2004. He was a Navy veteran of WWII and retired from the U. S. Postal Service after more than 30 years of service. Survived by sons, Marvin Smith & wife, Carolyn of Dallas, Ralph Smith & wife, Peggy of Mesquite; Billy Smith & wife, Peggy of Dallas; brother, Billy Middleton & wife, Wilma of Soper, OK.; sister-in-laws, Connie Dixon of Dallas, & Dessie Coleman of Malakoff:8 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; several nieces & nephews. Services will be 10:00AM Monday, May 3, 2004, at the New Hope Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Nelson T. Leeman & Rev. Larry Middleton officiating. Interment will be in I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Quinlan, TX. Family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday afternoon from 3:00PM to 5:00PM.
