Sadie Marzee Maples

In Loving Memory, Funeral services for our beautiful mother Sadie Marzee Maples, 91, of Mesquite, Texas, are to be held May 8, 2015, at 4:00 p.m. at New Hope Funeral Home, 500 E. Highway 80, Sunnyvale, Texas.Viewing May 7, from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at New Hope Funeral Home, and burial and graveside service May 9, 2015, at 1:00 p.m. at the Tow Cemetery, Tow, Texas. Mrs. Maples was born on October 21, 1923 and died May 5, 2015.She was born in Lakey, Texas to Sarah Jane and Joseph Haynes. She was a graduate of Sanderson High School, Sanderson, Texas. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Sunnyvale, where she especially loved and enjoyed her sweet, sweet friends in her Joy Sunday School class. Mrs. Maples was married to Barney G. Maples, Sr. on July 31, 1941 and they made their home in Sanderson, Texas.She ran a registered day care for over 25 years and was loved by numerous children and parents throughout the years for her kind and loving nature.She later became a caregiver to the elderly where she was loved and appreciated for her extraordinary and gentle care. Mrs. Maples was preceded in death by her husband, her mother, father and all eight of her siblings, Clarence Haynes, Edgar Haynes, William Haynes, Nancy B. Carter, Jesse Haynes, Joseph Haynes, Sybil Haynes and her little brother Harold Haynes. Survivors include her four children B.G. Maples, Jr. and his wife Donna of Alpine, Texas;Nancy Maples-Tittle and her husband Jack of Sunnyvale, Texas; Marty G. Maples of Tow, Texas, and Linda Maples of Del Rio, Texas.Grandchildren include Herman Everett, Ben Maples, Lauren Tittle, Lacy Tittle, Nathan Maples, Justin Logan McBride-Maples and Cheri Clark.Great grandchildren include Grant Maples, Owen Maples, Megan Clark, Wesley Brice Judge and Jerry Lee Everett.Great-great-grandchildren include Lola Judge, Kimora Judge and Miranda Everett.She was also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews and her beloved neighbor Barbara J. Haeussler-Moore and best friend Bess Ward.
