Roy Eugene Howard of Mesquite, born August 8, 1930, passed away June 23, 2015. Preceded in death by parents, Albert Edward Howard, Rose Leona West Howard; brothers, Lawrence Ray, Harold Edward, Bobby Howard; sisters, Mary Jane Windham, Rose Aline Crowder. Survived by wife of 57 years, Dana Lois Malone Howard; children, Michael Edward Howard, Cathy Lynne Howard; grandchildren, Michelle Ann Hester, Misti Lynne Justice, Mathew Blake Howard; great grandchildren, Joshua Mitchell Hester, Megan Breahann Hester, Hallie Catherine Hays Hester, Sophia Faith Faires; numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial service will be 2:00PM Friday June 26, 2016 at New Hope Funeral Home, 500 E. Hwy. 80, Sunnyvale, Texas 75182. Family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday evening from 5:00PM - 7:00PM. Interment will be 11:00AM Friday at DFW National Cemetery, Dallas, TX.
