Roy Manago Antonio

Roy Manago Antonio of Mesquite, born May 8, 1967, was called home to be with the Lord on June 21, 2016 at the age of 49 years old.He was surrounded by family and friends at his home in Mesquite. He is survived by his loving wife of 19 years, Maricel and two children, Joshua and Jamillah; mother, Estinely (Philippines); sister, Laarni (Philippines); brother, Nimrod (Saudi Arabia); nephews, JM and Juan Carlo (Philippies) and nieces, Kathleen and Janina (Philippines).He was preceded in death by his father, Rev. Domingo Antonio. Roy was born on May 8, 1967 at Romblon, Philippines to his loving parents.Roy dedicated his life serving God.He was an active member of the Umphress Road United Methodist Church.He was a talented musician, loving husband, father and a great friend.He loved playing basketball. He made God and his family his priority. roy will be remembered for all his kind, loving and generous heart. Roy's battle with cancer started on April 25, 2014. He underwent numerous therapies over the years and his journey was a living testimony of Gods's love and faithfulness to a lot of people.He was thankful for the care team of the UT Southwestern,who were caring and compassionate up to his final days.He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.Rest in peace our beloved Roy, we love you.Till we meet again.
