Rosamma Daniel

Rosamma Daniel was born on March 24, 1952, to the late Oommen and Sosamma “Pennamma” Varghese at Poovannummoottil house Mangadu, Parakodu, Kerala, India. She was the sixth of nine siblings including five brothers and two sisters. Brothers: Jacob “Kunjumon” Varghese, George “Joy” Varghese, late Samuel “Aniyankunj” Varghese, Pastor Babu Varghese (Northern Regional Director of Assemblies of God, Kerala), Rajan Varghese, Saji Varghese. Sisters: late Mary Varghese and late Mariamma “Kunjumol” Baby. She was married for over 50 loving years to Daniel “Kunjumon” K. Mathew of Kanjiramannil House, Kalanjoor, Pathanamthitta, Kerala, India on April 15, 1971.

She is survived by her husband, daughter Mercy “Wilsy” Noronha, son-in-law Pastor Robert “Roy” Noronha (Petra Fellowship, Cochin), son Pastor Wilson Daniel (Church of Pentecost, Carrollton, TX) and daughter-in-law Blessy Wilson. She is further survived by six grandchildren and two great grandchildren: Joash Danne Noronha, Lydia Phillis Noronha, Olivia Ruth Noronha, Jeremy Wilson, Deborah Wilson, and Jayden Wilson. She loved her children and grandchildren deeply and was proud of their deep Christian values.

Rosamma Daniel accepted Jesus Christ as her personal savior at an early age and took water baptism. She was a spiritual woman, loved the Lord, and was passionate for prayers and worship since childhood. She moved to Dallas, USA in the year 2000 to join her husband and worshiped the Lord at Mount Sinai Church of God in Garland, Texas. She was a spiritual woman, humble who hoped in her Lord and Savior always, as in I Peter chapter 3: 3-6; She trusted in God, faced all challenges and difficulties in life with a great smile. We will miss her beautiful smile, but we know she is finally at peace and filled with joy as she rejoices in the presence of our God of all hope.

She was admitted to the Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Sunnyvale, Texas for over a week and took her final breath on January 2, 2023, at around 4:30 PM. She will be deeply missed by her family, church, and friends. Let the blessed hope comfort us all and we request your valuable prayers.
