It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Ronnie Joe Henderson Jr. (44) on November 26, 2016 while camping with his family and friends in Oklahoma. Ronnie was born in Dallas, TX but was a lifelong resident of Mesquite and Sunnyvale, TX.He graduated from North Mesquite High school and went on to graduate Summa Cum Laude from Stephen F. Austin State University on a baseball scholarship. Ronnie is survived by his wife Cari of 14 years, and two children, Caroline and Zane; father, Ronnie Sr. and his spouse Debbie; mother, Linda; brother, Clint Henderson and spouse Jackie and their children; Montgomery and Memphis; sister, Brandy and spouse Brad, and their daughter, Havana; In-laws, James and Pam Ingram; sister-in-law, Carli and spouse Rick Henkhaus and their children Carter and Cayle. To say Ronnie was passionate and devoted to his family and kids would be an understatement.He was actively involved in coaching his kids in baseball, football and basketball.His passion and enthusiasm was contagious and there was nothing he’d rather be doing than watching his kids and the kids he coached.Ronnie loved Sunnyvale and was committed to serving his community and school district.He was a former Town Council member for the city of Sunnyvale. His passion, spirit and zest for life and his family and friends has forever left a mark on all who know and love him.
