Roger J. Shaw

Roger J. Shaw born February 4, 1942, in Terrell, TX to Billy J. and Jena Hunt Shaw and went to be with the Lord on February 12, 2017 athis home in Mesquite. He was preceded in death b his parents, Billy and Jena Shaw and his in-laws, Taylor and Venna Bullard. Roger is survived by his wife of 55 years, Pat; daughter, Kim Shaw; son, Chris Shaw and wife Nicole, and granddaughter, Kendall, the light of his life.He is also survived by his uncle, Jim Hunt and wife, Sue, aunt, Arlene Huppet and numerous special cousins. Other survivors include brothers-in-law Vaughn Bullard (Linda), Jim Bullard and Joe Bullard (Holly), and sister-in-law Betty Burris and Denise Walker (Mike) along with many nieces and nephews that he loved, along with one spoiled dog, Beau. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 14, 2017 from 5:00PM - 7:00PM at New Hope Funeral Home in Sunnyvale, TX. The funeral service will be held on February 15, 2017 at 2:00PM at New Hope Funeral Home. Burial to follow at Laurel Oaks Memorial Park, 12649 Lake June Rd., Balch Springs, TX. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the American Kidney Fund or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
