Rodney Thompson

Rodney Lynn Thompson, beloved husband, father and Pops, passed away on March 9,2025 at the age of 52. Born May 1, 1972, in Center, Texas. He lived in Forney, Texas, and worked as a driver for Air Liquide. Rodney's dedication to his family and work was evident throughout his life.

Rodney is survived by his loving spouse of 32 years, April Thompson and their three children: Alison, Hayden and Matthew. He has 2 grandchildren: Jeremiah & Anastasia. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, he was a fan of car and motorcycle racing, golfing, fishing and riding his Harley. Rodney will be deeply missed for his loyalty, companionship, and unwavering commitment to his family and friends.

Rodney was preceded in death by his mother- Iva Nell Stevens, his father- Steve Thompson, his sister - Irene Keiser and Mary Gingles and his brother Marlin Thompson.

Memorial service will be held Friday, March 14, 2025 at 2:00pm in the chapel of New Hope funeral home.
