Roberta Ann “Morris” Jackson, born December 8, 1932 in Dallas, TX entered the gates of heaven October 8, 2014 at the age of 82 years and 10 months. Ann is survived by her children and their spouses Kathy Walker, Kent (Bubba) & Karen Jackson, Rickey & Connie Jackson, Cindy & Kenneth Highsmith, Melissa and Jamie Belt. Ann leaves behind 10 grandchildren and their spouses, Jacob & Jennifer Walker, Jeremy Walker, Kerrie Jackson & Kyle Eernisse, Tracie & Bryan O’Neal, Shanda & Kyle Carpenter, Jessica & Chris Blackmon, Amanda & Jarrod Brown, Leah Highsmith, Lindsey and Clint Belt. Ann has 7 great grandchildren, Taylor and Kolten Eernisse, Kaden & Cooper O’Neal, Karlie and Kenlie Carpenter and the newest one Emma Blackmon. Sisters Kathryn Batsell and Patricia Ferguson Ann is preceded in death my husband Kent Wayne Jackson who passed away in 2007 afer 54 years of marriage. Parents Roy Hamilton Morris & Gladys “Mitchell” Morris, Brothers Robert “Uncle Bob” and Charles Morris and a beloved son-in law Ronny Walker. Ann worked numerous jobs from waitress, bank teller but initially retired working for the U.S. Government. Her greatest work was raising her 5 children and taking care of her husband. A memorial services will be held Saturday October 25, 2014 at 11:00 AM at New Hope Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Ann to www.jdrf.org Juvenile Diabetes Foundation or www.cancer.org/donate American Cancer Society
